Immediate area

Breck Farm campsite is bordered by open access woodland which can be accessed via the bottom of Woodfield. We are also a short walk from Sheringham Park, which is owned by the National Trust and includes a courtyard café. For steam enthusiasts, Weybourne Station is just a ten minute walk away. From here you can catch a steam train to Holt or Sheringham.

The pretty village of Weybourne, with its flint cottages and pebble beach, can be found two miles away. It has a local shop and two pubs, both serving food.

Further along the North Norfolk coast, the ever popular villages of Salthouse, Cley and Blakeney have much to offer. Cley marshes are a haven for wildlife and are one of the country’s most popular bird watching sites. There is also a large and modern visitor’s centre which includes a café and a panoramic terrace. The large village of Blakeney, famed for its seals, offers a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Our nearest town is the charming Georgian town of Holt, just 5 miles away. Holt has a large selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, many of which can be found in cobbled mews and yards.  There is also a large and well stocked Budgens supermarket.

The traditional Victorian coastal town of Sheringham is also approximately 5 miles away and provides our nearest sandy beach. Here you will find arcades, ice cream parlours and fish and chip shops as well as a Tesco supermarket.

Further along the coast from Sheringham is Cromer, another traditional Victorian seaside town famed for its pier and locally caught fresh crabs.

Further afield

The Norfolk Broads national park is approximately 20 miles away. The Broads are an interconnected system of 125 miles of lock free waterways and lakes which provide a haven for wildlife as well as an opportunity for boat trips.

The Medieval city of Norwich is 30 miles away. Steeped in history and culture, it has two cathedrals, a castle, museums, galleries and theatres as well as extensive shopping.
